DOE’s Energy Innovation Summit set for Feb. 25-27 in DC

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Project Agency-Energy  (ARPA-E) will host its fourth annual Energy Innovation Summit Feb. 25-27 at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md., right outside Washington, D.C.

Keynote presenters scheduled to speak the conference include Energy Secretary Steven Chu, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, oilman T. Boone Pickens, former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels and Dr. Arati Prabhakar, director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA, the agency that developed the Internet).

The event’s technology showcase is an expo of promising new technologies.
