Energy services topics to be featured at Customer Connections Conference

APPA’s 2013 Customer Connections Conference, Nov. 3-6 at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower in Portland, Ore., will feature a full track of sessions devoted to energy services issues. The conference will offer sessions on:

•    Best Practices in Energy Efficiency Program Design, Administration and Evaluation
•    Using Analytics to Engage Customers and Accelerate Energy Efficiency
•    Municipal Financing of Customer Energy Products
•    The Indoor LED Revolution
•    Community Solar and Energy Storage: Best Models for Public Power
•    Using Energy Services Offerings to Attract and Retain Business Customers

In addition to these sessions, the Customer Connections Conference offers sessions on economic development, public communications,  key accounts, marketing and customer service, as well as roundtable discussions, networking breakfasts, receptions and other opportunities for networking and information exchange.

Conference participants will also have an opportunity to attend three half-day pre-conference seminars on Sunday, Nov. 3:

•    How to Conduct a Customer Connections Check-Up
•    Crisis Media Training: Managing Crisis Communication 
•    Social Media: How to Get Ahead of the Curve

Conference fees are $645 for APPA members and $1,290 for nonmembers who register before Oct. 11.   The preconference seminars each require a separate registration fee.
